Our company’s history began in 2005, when under the corporate name "GOCA" construcciones started our first project in Valle de Chalco, in Estado de México. From this project on, our relationship with Comercial Mexicana supermarkets proved strong and productive.

Thanks to the high quality of our first job, Controladora Comercial Mexicana entrusted us a second objective, this time with SUMESA stores, a branch of Comercial Mexicana Supermarkets.

From that moment onwards, relationship between GOCA construcciones and Controladora got deeper, which allowed us to complete eight projects in different states, including Quitana Roo and Estado de México.

2006 marks the beginning of "GOCA construcciones" growth in México with several works in the states of Morelos, Campeche, Hidalgo, San Luis Potosí and Guanajuato.

In 2007 the corporate name of the company changed to "Grupo Comercial y Constructor GOCA" aiming to define not only a construction enterprise but a whole group of business units focused to serve our clients in a much more professional way.

During that year, and again, thanks to the quality of our services, the relationship between Grupo GOCA and Controladora reaffirmed. That made possible for us to participate in new Comercial Mexicana projects, besides the states quoted before, our work arrived to new places: Querétaro and Sinaloa with entire new projects, and remodeling of old constructions in Jalisco and Hidalgo.

After all the experience acquired until this point, particularly within big stores projects, other companies invited Grupo GOCA to work with them in Estado de México.

But 2008 started also with plenty invitations to participate in more projects of malls and retail stores, this time in the states of Tabasco and Hidalgo.

Nevertheless, it’s important to say that Grupo GOCA it’s an experienced company, not only building malls and retail stores but in a wide range of projects: the enlargement of a production plant and the construction of roads of reinforced concrete, the cleaning of dams, the remodeling of roads and the transportation of metallic structures and machinery in the states of Baja California, Sinaloa, Estado de México, Quintana Roo, Campeche, Hidalgo, San Luis Potosí, Guanajuato, Querétaro and México City; as well as charter trips transporting milk between Querétaro and Hidalgo.
